Festive Burgundy

Burgundy is without doubt the most prestigious of all the wine regions of France. It is situated in the eastern part of the country. The top vineyard sites are to be found high above the village appellations at the foothills of the so-called golden slopes - Côte d'Or - where limestone soils predominate. Nowhere else in the world has the word terroir such significance as in Burgundy.
